"Our beloved company and battalion will be departing on September 6, 2005 at 0500 for Iraq. I will be there to see them off and welcome them back when they return in 7 months. The company has many veterans who have had 1 deployment, some have has 2, 3, and 4 deployments. The company has about 20 newbies, the rest have been with the battalion on previous deployments.
